A question for the group

After thinking about this alot, I decided to ask this to get everyone's viewpoint.

So, what would you say is in your opinion is the most infuriating thing about Ian's current story?

I know there's alot about it we can say that angered us, but what is that ONE THING that just thinking about it makes your blood boil and want to personally walk up to Ian and shout, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?"

Personally, I could pick just about any of them. From the ridiculously overblown story, the gigantic plotholes, violently shoving the comic cast aside just to benefit Tails and Amy.

Of course Sally being treated like crap and subjected to horrors that no character has ever been before or since.  I even have a few sharp words about the obviously forced SegaSonic designs onto Sally, Bunnie and Antoine as well.

But after thinking this over long and hard, there is only one that has angered me more than all of those.

The attitude of the main heroes.

I swear, it's all I can do from literally not writing a scathing rebuke to Ian about this. I am THAT TICKED about it.

He makes a story where Eggman has been causing alot of harm, and how does he have them respond for the most part?

THEY HAVING FUN BATTLING EGGMAN AND SHOOTING THE BREEZE!

Are you kidding me?

I mean, let's count some of the moments our so called heroes have acted like heartless creeps.

1. Sonic carries Amy. And instead of being respectful of what just happened to Sally, Amy enjoys it. I mean, she's literally enjoying it from the panel.

2. Sonic asks Knuckles for help. And he doesn't even lift a bloody finger in response to help him out.

How cruel by Ian. This is Sally we're talking about, the girl Knuckles once was in love with? How can he make him just ignore a beloved friend in need? I don't care if it was futile or not. It's the principal of the matter. If someone you care about is in trouble, YOU HELP THEM.  

3. Sonic and Tails are actually grinning in 233, when both of them should be still upset about what happened to Sally. Here, they don't act like they care at all.

Hey, Flynn. Here's a writing tip for you: When you have characters going through a bad experience, you're supposed to keep them CONSISTENT about their emotional state over a period of time.

You cannot make them go from bawling to grinning like a Cheshire cat within 2 issues, then back to bawling and back to grinning within another 2 issues. That is utterly pathetic character development.

4. Sonic literally jeers Geoffrey for something he should have pitied him.

I mean, for crying out loud, what is wrong with you, Flynn? I don't care if Geoffrey caused alot of problems. He did, but the fact remains, Sonic is going through the exact same thing Geoffrey is, so how can you make him just jeer the skunk so heartlessly?  

5. Bunnie abandons her husband in 235 to get stupidly legionized.

I know this is basically taking a shot at Team Fighter's cold attitude, but I couldn't overlook this one.

No matter how anyone tries to spin this, the fact still remains: Bunnie ABANDONED Antoine. She basically shoved onto her friends who were still upset about what happened in 234, who Sonic then turned over to Geoffrey.

Now, was I against her wanting to do something to help the others? No, of course not. I can understand Bunnie being desperate enough to help her friends by any means necessary. Ok, that's fine and dandy. More power to her.

Here's what I cannot tolerate though: Not only did Bunnie not speak to anyone of her friends about what to do, she basically left Antoine to die in a sense. Yea, I said it: LEFT TO DIE. This is her husband, the one she swore to honor, love and cherish.

How is THIS doing any of those things? What, she couldn't even move him to a more secure facility in case of another attack from their enemies before leaving? That's the least she could have done. If you're going to be gone for a long period of time, you owe it to your spouse to make sure they're well taken care of. YOU DO NOT leave it in the hands of your friends who might have other priorities.

6. Sonic makes a joke about being the better robot to Mecha Sally.

Yea, what a great role model you're making Sonic, Flynn. He literally is making light of what happened to Sally.

Well why stop there? Why not just make Sonic the biggest asshole hero of all time? How bout he cracks one about Antoine being lit up like a Christmas tree. Or how bout one of saying that he hopes Eggman had fun weaponizing Sally?

Or, I know... how bout one where he literally makes light of Hershey's death to Geoffrey?

Why not, Flynn? It's obviously you don't give a rats ass about noble heroes. No, it's just all fun and games for them, you pathetic, despicable bastard!  (pardon my language there)

7. Tails basically mentions what happened to Sally as if it was no big deal.

Oh wow, what a lovely way to show he's upset about Sally getting weaponized.

"So, what happened to Sally?"

"Oh, she just got weaponized." :shrugs: "Eh, it's a bummer, but nothing of concern."

YOU. SUCK. FLYNN.

Anyway, I guess I've made enough points about this.

The real sad thing is, Flynn's fans will make excuses for their bad attitude instead of being called out for it.

Anyhow, that's my personal thoughts about this.
