As i have been reading the comics i have noticed a few clear things. Like in everyday life there are winners and they are losers and i have noticed something like that in the arcs. I feel the need to talk about who i see are the real winners and losers are.

Winner: Amy Rose

As much as i wanted Amy to get just a bit more panel time, i didn't want her to see her get it in this way. The way she got it as we all know was when Sally got Roboticized and she basically became the lead Female for this short time. One thing i have noticed as well since Ian took over the writing duties she has become the biggest beneficent of Ian's policy of "Shock Value/Shock and Awe" stories. For some reason i think Sega has something to do with this. Now it may be just the recent thought process of Sega is (Plausibly and suddenly) getting more involved but i have a feeling its the reason why she gets more panel time. But my problem with Amy is that i see her as that Ex you break up with that wont leave you alone cause of their feelings and she's kinda a creepy stalker sometimes. The only thing she thinks/cares/talks about is Sonic and somehow people like her for that. Which also leads to the next winner...

Winner: SonAmy fans.

Yea they are definitely winners here cause now that Sally is a temporally a villain (until the Deus Ex Machina de-roboticizing plant cures her) Amy's more panel time gives this group of fans more reason to think Sonic and Amy will end up together. When a friend of mine (Who is a HUGE SonAmy fan) read the past two arcs he sent me a text saying "Its only a matter of time before Sonic and Amy are together", to which i replied "Keep dreamin' Spielberg" (We go at it all the time since i'm a huge SonSally fan). But those fans think Sally is gonna be out of the picture since she's a robot and once she's free she's gonna go back to Khan (which i find it HIGHLY unlikely it would last long since Khan didn't do s*** to help cure her). But they will take just the slightest bit of hope and they will use it as hard evidence. I'm actually beginning to think Flynn himself is a SonAmy supporter, i mean why else would he pair Sally up with a guy who FREAKING KIDNAPPED HER!!! and on that note the next winner is:

Winner: Flynn and his legion of followers (dubbed Flynnboys by some people here)

I really don't need to talk about this one do i? Flynn gets to write his "Shock Value/Shock and Awe" crap while his fans say its great work. Well granted it is better than SOME of the stuff Penders wrote but (i cant believe im saying this) Penders left us with some good arcs and Memorable characters (who are unfortunately gone... more on that a bit). But seriously i sometimes think Penders was better writer (though 134 and MXYL was terrible) than Flynn and vice versa.

Loser: Sonic

I feel bad for our brother in Blue. He witnessed Sally set Roboticized right in front of him, Naugus usurping the throne, Antoine getting blown up and his coma, his (VERY uncharacteristic) revelation that "The Freedom Fighters are no more", and Silver's thinking everyone is "the traitor" (he did deserve a can of whoopass for all his pestering about it). But he has been VERY uncharacteristic for a while now and doesn't seem the way we all know him as. In MHO, I don't see Sonic being treated well, like he is not being written the way he should be written. Theres been something off about him the last few arcs, i dunno but thats what i have been seeing. Now speaking of Silver earlier

Loser: Silver

Ok i really feel bad about the way Silver has been treated since his debut. Since his debut in Sonic '06, he has been treated the worst out of everyone i have seen. Take a look at Shadow, Knuckles, Blaze and other characters debuts: The were Great, the games those guys debuted it were well received by most people and the fans. Silver on the other hand got the short end of the stick and debuted in probably one of the worst Sonic games in the 3D era (the story and graphics were decent but the game breaking glitches, bad controls and that one scene in the final story (We all know the one I'm talking about) killed it). Since then he has been treated poorly just cause he was given a bad debut and nothing to redeem himself with. Now this whole "Traitor" ordeal was Silvers main drive in the comics and now it has been revealed that its no one just makes it worse for him. The fact that he has been making himself look like an ass in front of everyone in his wild goose chase and now that its no one i bet Silver is not liking this one bit and i'm not either. i just feel bad for him.

Loser: Sally

VERY obvious why she's been a loser in these past few arcs. She was roboticized, weaponized and she now has been sent to kill her Friends/family/loved ones. And people who have been roboticized remember EVERYTHING (if my knowledge is correct) so i cant imagine what she will be going through after she is cured. I think they did this cause either Sega had something to do with it, Archie had a grand plan with this that got derailed by one Ken Penders, or they just wanted to justify a redesign. Either way Sally has been treated poorly through this and i have a bad feeling that she's gonna be dealing with this for awhile. (if they pull a Mina-like PTSD thing i swear to god Archie is asking for angry fans to come at them)

Loser: NICOLE

She gets exiled because Mina thinks she will go rogue again. Mina decides to write a song about how 'evil' Nicole is after talking to Ash. Not Sally, Not Nicole herself, Ash: Her jackass of a boyfriend and uses the PTSD card as her reasoning. I have a HUGE problem with that cause i know people who have Served and they suffer from PTSD. Its not a pretty thing like if they hear something loud they immediately hit the deck. Mina tries to make herself look like a victim which eventually cause Nicole to be sent into exile. Now after all Nicole has done for everyone they treated her that way and just the fallout from that makes Nicole a loser in the recent arcs.

Loser: Knuckles.

"Endangered Species" Arc started out somewhat decent (and for some reason i saw the beginning to part one as a bit of a nod to the movie Red Dawn) and then Penders happened and Archie decides to remove a huge chunk of characters and now Knuckles is one of two Echidnas left. Hmmm this sounds strangle familiar... oh wait a second KNUCKLES IS THE LAST ECHIDNA LEFT(SegaSonic game-wise, not including SC:TDB cause that ended on a cliffhanger and Shade hasn't been seen since). Now i know the characters were removed cause of this god dammed lawsuit but seriously, thats not cool how Knuckles lost Julie-Su and the others. Just at the end of the arc when Thrash vanishes Knuckles realizes that everyone is gone... I feel bad for this guy, he lost the people he loved. Now on to my final loser

Loser: Us the Fans

Yep. This shouldn't surprise anyone. Look what we have to deal with. Flynn's "Shock Value/Shock and Awe" stories, very crappy Deus Ex Machina plot fillers, very poorly written characters, unnecessary (and unpopular) redesigns, plots that just scratch our heads and one pissed off former writer who thinks he has rights to characters that he technically doesn't own (no matter how much he claims they are his) and the lawsuit that followed causing a good chunk of characters that were very well liked by us. Yea, we are dealing with a lot on our plates with this damn comic. Though we shoulder on through this hell we keep on reading i feel that we are the biggest losers because of things are being forced upon us because of several events that just ever so happened to fall in place one right after another. Hopefully soon enough thins start to turn around for the better but i think it's gonna be a long road ahead of us my friends. Either Archie and Flynn get their s*** together and make a better comic or the subscription rates will eventually plummet. I know there are a lot more winners and losers i could of listed but this is what i feel are the biggest ones IMHO.
